SharePoint 2013 People Picker Control not User Friendly.
In SharePoint 2013 People Picker Control there is no option to search the user from Active Directory. It will be a problem if we don't know the exact username.

Client Object Model Changes in SharePoint 2013
If you don’t know, SharePoint has two frameworks for development, the server-side object model and the client-side object model (CSOM). The server-side object model is used to run code on the SharePoint server, for example if you develop web parts, workflows, taxonomies, and so on.
The client-side object model is used to develop code that runs outside of the SharePoint server, for example in applications you have on your desktop, mobile device, in an external web page, and so on. Technically, CSOM interacts with SharePoint through web services, and I’ll tell you why it’s important to know this in just a moment.
I’ve previously mentioned that Microsoft intends to attack the mobile market with full force, and an important aspect of that goal is an extended CSOM. But which areas will receive some much needed love from Redmond?
To understand this, I’ve investigated two main types of documents. The first type is the documents that describe the new CSOM features directly. The second type are the web services documents that describe which areas get new web services with which client developers can interact directly without necessarily going through CSOM.

crawl log | A set of properties that provides information about the results of crawling a display URL. The information includes whether the crawl was successful, the content source to which the display URL belongs, and the level, message, time, and identifier for any errors that occur. |
crawl queue | A data structure that stores the list of items to crawl next. |
crawled property | A type of metadata that can be discovered during a crawl and applied to one or more items. It can be mapped to a managed property. |

user search security filter | The user search security filter that specifies group and user permissions for a specific FAST Search user. FAST Search Authorization (FSA) filters out inappropriate search results by intersecting the user’s query with the user's search security filter, and checking each document’s access control list to determine if the user has permission to view that document. The user search security filter is FSA's primary means of enforcing document-level security ("security trimming"), which helps to ensure that search results display only documents that the user has permissions to read. |
user store | A logical grouping of users, groups, and content permissions for a third-party security or content system that is accessed by FAST Search Authorization. |
