Creating a Custom Site Definition in SharePoint 2007

  • Go to layouts/templates folder.
  • Create a copy of sts folder.
  • In webtemp.xml file change the id & give a new name to the template.
  • Now reset iis.
Note:
 The number you give should be 10,000.00 And it should be unique.
