How to set your custom page as Default in SharePoint 2007 Publishing site?

Log on to Your SharePoint site with Administrator Permissions.
Now at your left side click on Site Actions, Site Settings.
Now in Site Settings Page Click on Welcome Page and Give the URL of your custom page and press OK.
Now Next time when you open your site it will take you to your custom page by default.
