How to set a Primary Key for a column in SharePoint 2010

  • Login to your SharePoint 2010 site with Administrator Credentials.
  • Go to your specific list.
  • On Ribbon Click on List Tab.
  • In List Tab Click on List Settings.
  • Go to column you want to make it as a Primary Key.
  • Click on that column.
  • Now in that column you will find Enforce Unique Values.
  • Select Yes option for Enforce Unique Values and press OK.
  • Now the respective column will be set as Primary Key.
